Culturally Diverse Students from Oregon Community Partners Tour OICF Colleges & Universities
The The Oregon Independent College Foundation (OICF) is pleased to report on a series of successful campus tours for more than 100 students from Self Enhancement, Inc., Oregon Council for Hispanic Advancement, and the Native American Youth & Family Center.
Different student groups from these three OICF community partners toured eight of the OICF’s ten member colleges on November 1. Students had an opportunity to tour one campus in the morning and one in the afternoon.
Marcy Bradley, Vice President of Programs at Self Enhancement, said, “It is a pleasure to be included in the meaningful work of the OICF. It is exciting to hear that kids are being exposed to options they may never have known as this fits perfectly into the mission of SEI. Your partnership is very valuable and we appreciate your ongoing commitment to this cause.
Students from these three organizations will participate in additional campus tours on January 30, 2007 and April 12, 2007.
