OICF leads college fair with students from the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs
The OICF and seven member institutions participated in a College Fair hosted
by the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs on March 28. (story continues below)
For the third time in a year, the OICF participated in a college fair with
the Native American community. Approximately 70 students attended the youth
conference on the Warm Springs reservation. Motivational speakers and
musicians entertained the students while college information booths
encouraged them to think about their education.
The OICF hopes participation in these college fairs, as well as other
collaborations between OICF and community organizations serving diverse
populations can assist with increasing diversity among our member
institutions.
