OICF Professional Development Institute scheduled for June 5 and 6, 2008
The OICF is planning to hold a Professional Development Institute with 85 finalists of the Oregon Management Internship (OMI) from all ten of OICF's member institutions on June 5 and 6. These students will have the opportunity to participate in the Professional Development Institute. Students will learn about Oregon’s role in the Global economy, what it means to work in a professional environment, and participate in group discussions. OICF board members along with other area professionals will be invited to participate.
Thursday’s events will focus on informing students about Oregon’s current economic state. Friday’s theme will be aimed on the culture and practice of work. The speakers and location are to be determined.
