2007 Oregon Leadership Summit
Britt Davis and Brent Wilder of the OICF led an energetic group of ten students from five OICF member colleges and universities to the 2007 Oregon Leadership Summit on January 4th. Over 1,000 business, academic and legislative leaders met at the Oregon Convention Center to discuss Oregon’s economy with a focus on sustainability, education, health and transportation.
The reaction on the event from students was overwhelmingly positive. Britt tDavis, President of the OICF, said, “Providing opportunities like the Oregon Leadership Summit for our student’s to see trends in the Oregon business community and hear comments from top government and business leaders is critical. It offers these young people meaningful opportunities to participate in discussions about Oregon’s future. These students are the leaders of tomorrow.”
