Nine OICF institutions attend college fair at SEI with over 140 students participating in workshops and events
Nine OICF colleges attended a college fair hosted by Self Enhancement, Inc. on April 11. Over 140 SEI and OCHA students learned about different colleges and universities in Oregon and had the opportunity to attend a number of workshops. Some of the topics included: why to attend college, financial aid, and what to expect at college. These workshops were designed to help students learn more about how to best prepare for the college experience.
The OICF hopes participation in these college fairs, as well as other
collaborations between OICF and community organizations serving diverse
populations can assist with increasing diversity among our member
institutions.
